TREE PLANTING
In Carney
For the Jennifer Branch Preservation Project!
The Gunpowder Valley Conservancy is seeking volunteers on
Saturday, April 9th t 9:30am - 1pm
Why: To restore forest buffers within the Jennifer Branch Watershed in order to improve the water quality of the Carney community waterway, Jennifer Branch. On April 9th, we will be planting around 100 trees on half an acre of open space land owned by Baltimore County. Restoring forest buffers will help filter rain water which can carry pollutants from rooftops, driveways and roads directly to Jennifer Branch. Do you like being outside in nature and don’t mind working hard? Do you want to receive community service hours? Then come and join us and make a difference for your community environment and for future generations!
